Join us for an unforgettable week of dance, community, and culture in Fort Worth, Texas! The Brown Girls Do Ballet® Summer Dance Intensive is designed for dancers ages 4–17 to refine their technique, explore new styles, and grow in confidence—all in an encouraging, affirming space.

Program Overview
No audition required to attend
Dancers will be placed in age-appropriate levels for instruction and will train with professional instructors and guest teaching artists.

Senior: Ages 14–17
2026 Intensive Tuition
Mini (Ages 4–7): $225
Junior (Ages 8–10): $280
Teen (Ages 11–13): $300
Senior (Ages 14–17): $320
Scholarships will be available for dancers demonstrating financial need.

Brown Girls Do Ballet Summer Dance Intensive 2026
Brown Girls Do Ballet is excited to announce our 2026 Summer Dance Intensive, hosted in partnership with Cosmopolitan Dance Theatre in Fort Worth, Texas.
We are especially grateful to Central Market & Arts Fort Worth for their generous support of this program. Their commitment to arts education helps make opportunities like this possible for dancers in our community.
This week-long intensive is designed for dancers ages 4–17 of all levels, offering focused training in multiple dance styles while building confidence, discipline, and artistry in a supportive environment.
📋 Scholarship Application Requirements:

Video Submission
* Please include the following in your video: (Ages 4-7) uploaded to an unlisted/private YouTube link
Start with a brief introduction stating your name, age, years of training, and current school (if applicable).
* Arabesque
* Barre work (Plié, Tendu, Grand Battement en croix)
* Sauté
* Chassé
* Wild card submission for your genre of choice. (Optional)
* If you would like to be considered for a featured solo in the end of Intensive showcase, please submit a video of the classical variation you would want to be featured. (Optional)

* Please include the following in your video: (Ages 8-11) uploaded to an unlisted/private YouTube link

* First Arabesque
* Barre work
* Adagio (one side)
* Center work
* Small jumps (sauté, changement, pas de chat)
* Medium and/or big jumps/leaps (assemblé, grand jeté)
* Pirouettes (single pirouette close in fourth and fifth)
* Wild card submission for your genre of choice. (Optional)
* If you would like to be considered for a featured solo in the end of Intensive showcase, please submit a video of the classical variation you would want to be featured. (Optional)

Time Max: 12 Minutes uploaded to an unlisted/private YouTube link . Start with a brief introduction stating your name, age, years of training, and current school (if applicable).
* First Arabesque
* Barre work
* Adagio (one side)
* Center work
* Small jumps
* Medium and/or big jumps/leaps (grand jeté etc.)
* Pirouettes (center or diagonal; any combination)
* Pointe work (girl applicants if trained; any combination including pirouettes, pique arabesque and an extension of your choice)
* Wild card submission for your genre of choice. (Optional)
* If you would like to be considered for a featured solo in the end of Intensive showcase, please submit a video of the classical variation you would want to be featured. (Optional)
