Help to Keep Dancers on Their Toes
Small Studio Grant
The Brown Girls Do Ballet® Small Studio Grant was initiated in 2013 as a means to provide assistance for the development of ballerinas in smaller dance programs that need funding to continue their programs.
BGDB Photo Project
Created in 2012, the Brown Girls Do Ballet® Photo Project was the precursor the movement that you see today. Beginning November 2015, the photos shot by TaKiyah Wallace became an official traveling exhibition.
Supplies for Good
A critical part of the Brown Girls Do Ballet® mission is to promote diversity in the arts and one way we do that is serving our local communities through volunteerism, donations and partnership opportunities that diversify access.
Mentorship
We believe that every Brown Ballerina with access to proper mentoring and training should have the opportunity to learn from more experienced Brown Ballerinas. In this vein, we have established the Brown Ballerina Ambassador Program.
