Karyn Nesby is the Technical Director for the Digital Experience team. Karyn played a key role in establishing the User Experience team within CSX technology and she continues to be responsible for creating and integrating UX processes into the broader organization. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and her efforts and creative expertise have led to enhanced solutions for web and mobile applications.
Currently, serving as the Chair for the National African American Women’s Leadership Institute, Karyn enjoys building programs to expand opportunities for girls and women. She has participated in panel discussions and a speaker for Women and Minorities in Technology. Karyn also created the Tiger Tech Buddy After-school program for a former all- girls charter academy in Duval County that focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.
Karyn is a native of Kansas where she received her Bachelor of Science in Advertising at Kansas State University and a Master of Arts in Management from Webster University. She has also achieved the certification of Project Management Professional (PMP) ®. Karyn has a broad range of experience working in industries such as marketing, telecommunications, healthcare and transportation.
Karyn has a passion for being creative and enjoys and has participated in fine arts, dance, and theater. Volunteering for non-profits and helping others achieve their dreams is something that Karyn plans to do for a lifetime and hopes to bring others along on the journey of paying it forward.
